Total Tree Care

This procedure is often required when the crown of your tree is overgrown causing your tree to sail dangerously in the wind which may lead to it failing and restricting the correct growth of your tree.

An overhaul of the crown of the tree would be required where the tinning out of the tree branches at the crown is undertaken, resulting in reducing the wind sail affect of your tree and the potential of the tree failing in high winds.

This procedure is required when your tree may be overgrown and where there is deadwood, diseased wood, broken or split branches evident throughout the tree.

A thorough overhaul of your tree is undertaken leaving it free of any crossing brabches, deadwood, diseased wood or broken branches are removed, resulting in a healthy tree that will continue to grow safely into the future.

Sometimes you may find in your tree wood on it that is no longer growing or living, this is commonly known as "deadwood". This wood although still attached to tree is often very weak and could be a safety concern to any items or person close to the tree. If strong winds catch this it is most likely that the deadwood will detach and fall.

A survey of the tree will be undertaken and once the deadwood is identified, the deadwood will be removed safely and allowing the tree to continue to grow.

This procedure is often required when the top of your tree is overgrown causing your tree to be overweight at the top of the tree and putting pressure on the lower part of the tree which may lead to it falling over it also restricting the correct growth of your tree. This is often caused by the under vitality of your tree.

When undertaking a tree crown reduction it requires the tinning out of the tree branches at the crown, this is undertaken in order to reduce the size of the tree crown, resulting in the reduction in the size of the crown so that it is relative to the overall tree size.

This procedure is sometimes required if there is an untidy growth of branches below the crown of the tree.

This procedure involves removing the lower branches at the base of the crown of the tree, resulting increasing the height of the main crown of the tree from ground level.

Tree Felling Action Required

If a tree is required to be felled or dismantled it is usually the last resort for any tree, if the tree can be saved or treated this would be the desired procedure. However felling a dead or diseased tree is important as it makes the area around the tree a lot safer and allows other trees in the area to thrive. Depending on each site clearance there may be a variety of tree services require this may involve, hedge / shrubbery removal, tree felling, tree stump removal, wood chipping and wood, tree branch and debris removal. On completion the site would be totally cleared of all trees, tree roots, hedging and any tree waste will be taken away.

Please note do not undertake a site clearance until you have consulted with a qualified tree surgeon as it may cause irreparable damage to your tree and site area that you are working in. Tree stump removal is another service that we offer. In some cases a tree or shrub may have already have been cut back and all that remains is the stump of the tree that can be difficult to remove.

Tree Stump Removal Clearance Action Required

Total tree care has specialised stump grinding machinery that makes the removal of any unsightly or dangerous stumps to be removed safely and correctly. By using the stump grinders the stump is easily ground down and the debris taken from site and recycled.

We have a number of different sized stump grinders and can grind stumps of any size in awkward areas. Our stump grinders come in a variety of sizes so if you have narrow access to the tree stump or machinery will be able to get to it.

On completion the tree stump will be completely removed and you will be free to grow grass or pave as desired.

Hedge Cutting....

Regular hedge cutting or trimming is important to maintain a healthy hedge and of the surrounding areas, not taking the appropriate action at the right time can often lead to hedges becoming unsightly, overgrown, difficult for you to manage and may cause problems in the future.

On assessing your hedge we will offer the correct solution for your hedge to you, this maybe the complete removal of the hedge or simply the reduction of the hedge in order to make it more manageable for you.

Our team specialises in hedge cutting and trimming whatever the height of your hedge. With our specialised hedge cutting equipment we can provide a hedge cutting service from small garden hedges to large boundary hedges. On completion your hedging will be at a manageable level and we will remove and hedging debris for you.
